Officers of the Adjara Main Division of the Central Criminal Police Department of Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs have detained a citizen of the Republic of Türkiye who was wanted under an Interpol Red Notice. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.

Officers of the Main Investigation Division of the Tbilisi Police Department of the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs, specifically the Anti-Fraud Unit, have detained one person on charges of fraudulently obtaining a large sum of money through abuse of official position. The information was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.

As a result of police operations conducted by Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs over a 48-hour period in Tbilisi and across the country's regions, 119 individuals were arrested on drug-related charges, including 49 suspected drug dealers. Employees of the Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, on charges of illegal purchase and possession of narcotic drugs, as well as facilitating their illegal sale, detained A.S. (born in 1991), previously convicted G.O. (born in 2005), and a foreign citizen A.G. (born in 1998). The arrests were carried out at different times in Tbilisi and Batumi.
