Nine Georgian wine-producing companies have received a total of ₾692,969 in co-financing under the State Program for Promoting the Promotion of Georgian Wine, aimed at increasing export potential and diversifying target markets.
The program, launched in September 2021, is implemented by the National Wine Agency in coordination with the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia. It offers marketing co-financing exclusively to companies exporting to priority international markets outside the CIS and GUAM regions.
The 2025 beneficiaries are:
Jiveli
Vila Mosavali
Teliani Valley
Vazisubani Estate
Chelti Winery
Kakhetian Traditional Winery
Dugladze Wine Company
Tiko Estate
Shumi Winery
According to the agency, these companies recorded a notable increase in export volumes to American, European, and Asian markets in 2024 compared to 2023, driven by targeted marketing initiatives.
In comparison, five companies received ₾243,281 in co-financing under the program in the previous year.
The initiative reflects Georgia’s ongoing effort to position its wines in premium global markets, while supporting producers in expanding their international presence through strategic brand development and export-focused promotion.
