As the Newshub.ge news agency was informed by the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs, an investigation into the incident was launched under Article 117 of the Criminal Code, which provides for the intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm. Punishable by imprisonment for a term of three to six years.
According to the department, 1 person was detained.
