US Vice President JD Vance will make a private address on Monday at the annual gathering of the Republican Jewish Coalition, a collection of conservative Jewish activists. Vance's more equivocal stance on Israel has been criticised by some pro-Israel figures within the conservative movement, who have also raised concerns over his refusal to distance himself from commentators such as Tucker Carlson, who have given a platform to far-right anti-Semitic figures. 

President of Georgia Mikheil Kavelashvili has expressed deep sorrow over the death of King Harald V and extended his condolences to the Norwegian Royal Family and the Norwegian people.
