In Tbilisi, the emergency medical service received 33 calls due to injuries caused by fireworks on New Year's Eve. Hospitalization was required for 20 citizens, according to the Emergency Situations Coordination and Emergency Assistance Center, as reported to Georgia's First Channel.

As for other cities and regions, 25 reports of injuries related to fireworks use were recorded, with 20 patients requiring hospitalization.

According to the Center, 208 calls related to alcohol consumption were recorded in Tbilisi on New Year's Eve. As a result, 64 people were hospitalized. In the regions, 110 cases of food and alcohol poisoning were recorded, with 67 patients hospitalized.
