With the support of Georgia’s National Wine Agency, three Georgian family wineries—Iora, Manavi Wines, and Baghdati Estate—participated in RAW Wine Shanghai, a leading international exhibition dedicated to natural, organic, and biodynamic wines.

RAW Wine, also known as The Artisan Wine Fair, is curated by renowned French Master of Wine Isabelle Legeron and attracts top-tier wine professionals, commercial buyers, and consumers from around the world.

Attendees had the opportunity to taste and discover Georgian wines, learn about traditional winemaking techniques, and engage with representatives of the participating wineries.

China remains a strategic export market for Georgian wine. Since 2013, a targeted marketing campaign has been actively promoting Georgian wine in the country. As a result, China has become one of the top five export destinations for Georgian wine.

According to data from January to April 2025, Georgia exported 1.12 million liters of wine to China, marking a 78% increase compared to the same period last year.

In addition to Shanghai, Georgian family wineries have also participated in RAW Wine exhibitions in Paris, Verona, and Tokyo this year, further enhancing Georgia’s global visibility in the artisanal wine segment.
