The Georgian legionnaire of the Austrian club “Sturm Graz” and member of the Georgian national team, Otar Kiteishvili, was named the best player of the Austrian championship season for the second year in a row and was awarded at the 29th “Bruno Gala” charity ceremony held at the “Globus” stadium in Vienna.
One of the leaders of the Georgian national team has been recognized as Austria’s best footballer for two consecutive seasons in two different categories.
The “Bruno” gala evening has been held annually every autumn since 1997 in memory of Austrian football legend Bruno Pezzey. The winners in various categories are selected by players of the Austrian Bundesliga.
About 500 guests attended the event, including representatives and players of Austrian Bundesliga clubs.
