The National Environmental Agency is releasing information about the weather conditions expected in Georgia from the second half of December 12 until the morning of December 14.

According to the Agency, from the second half of December 12 until the morning of December 14, Georgia (mainly the western part of the country) will experience rain, in some places heavy; in mountainous regions — snowfall, also heavy in some areas; fog, blizzard, and icy roads.

On December 13–14, strong western winds are expected across most of the country, and a 4–5-point storm is possible at sea.

Due to expected heavy snowfall, reduced visibility, blizzard, and icy conditions, traffic restrictions may be imposed on certain sections of motor roads (danger level — medium).
