In total, Ukraine will receive 321 heavy tanks from Western partners. This was announced by the Ambassador of Ukraine to France Vadym Omelchenko.

Omelchenko did not name specific countries, but a few days ago it was reported that Germany, the United States, Great Britain, Poland, Spain and a number of other countries would supply Ukraine with Leopard, Abrams and Challenger tanks. They also talk about the supply of modernized Soviet-made tanks by Poland and a number of other countries of the former socialist camp.

In December 2022, Valery Zaluzhny, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stated that Ukraine needed 300 tanks and 500 combat vehicles for a successful offensive operation.

At the same time, experts say that the actual number of weapons may be higher than the officially declared figures.
