“We continue to remain in a mode of one-sided friendship and partnership even with those countries that blatantly interfere in the internal affairs of our country,” said Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili.

“Our diplomats do not interfere in the internal affairs of other states. If they did, we know very well that there would be an appropriate reaction from those countries. We also observe and assess the actions of some ambassadors working in Georgia, which are unacceptable. However, despite this, Georgia maintains friendly and partnership relations solely because we value the ties that have been built over many years,” Bochorishvili noted.

For reference, following the attempted destabilization in Georgia orchestrated by radicals on October 4, the Georgian authorities accused the ambassadors of several countries of interfering in the nation’s internal affairs and encouraging acts of violence.
