Olympic champion Zurab Zviadauri has been detained in Georgia. The information was confirmed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia to newshub.ge.

The investigation is being conducted under Article 236 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which provides for illegal possession and carrying of firearms. The penalty may be a fine, house arrest for a term of six months to two years, or imprisonment for up to two years.
