The National Bank of Georgia has set a new exchange rate for the national currency. As a result of trading on January 12, the US dollar depreciated and amounted to 2.6837 lari. Today's rate was 2.6867 GEL. Accordingly, the change in the exchange rate of the dollar against the national currency amounted to 0.003 tetri.
The euro strengthened, the rate of which is 2.8882 lari. While today's exchange rate was 2.8871 GEL. Accordingly, the change in the euro amounted to 0.0011 lari.
The Turkish lira depreciated to 0.1429 lari, while the pound strengthened to 3.2674 lari.
The rate established as a result of today's trading will be valid from January 13th.
