Diplomat Georgia, one of the country’s leading distribution companies, has acquired the "Cherie " coffee brand as intellectual property, including rights to the brand name, logo, and related assets.
As the company confirmed to Business Partner, Cherie coffee products will remain available on online marketplaces, and production will continue uninterrupted to ensure that consumers still have access to their favorite blends.
“We acquired the Cherie brand as intellectual property, including the name and visual identity. Production continues so that high-quality products remain available to consumers,” Diplomat Georgia stated.
The sale was also confirmed by the original producer of Cherie , a company that began industrial coffee production in Georgia in 2012.
Diplomat Georgia, which entered the Georgian market in 2008, distributes a wide portfolio of international brands, including Procter & Gamble, Nestlé, Toffita, Gillette, and others.
The acquisition is expected to further diversify Diplomat Georgia’s brand portfolio and strengthen its position in the local FMCG and beverage sector.
