Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is not entirely sure that Russian President Vladimir Putin is still alive. He stated this in a video message at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

“Today I don’t understand well with whom and what to talk about. I'm not sure if the Russian president, who sometimes appears in front of a green background, is really him. I don't understand if he is still alive and making decisions, or if someone is making decisions. What circle of people? I don't have such information.
I do not understand how one can promise European leaders one thing, and the next day a full-scale invasion of the country begins. I just don't understand who we're dealing with. When we say "peace talks" - I don't understand with whom to conduct them.
We are now communicating - you know exactly who I am, and I know exactly who you are. There are witnesses of our life. Even when we talk about different issues, we can reach a consensus. I think that Russia should first find “someone” and then offer us “something,” Zelensky said.
