Armenia sent humanitarian aid to Turkey today, Vahan Hunanyan, spokesman for the Foreign Ministry, reports.

Ankara's Special Representative for the Armenian-Turkish talks Serdar Kılıç thanked the Armenian Special Representative for the talks, Vice Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Ruben Rubinyan and Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan and noted that 5 trucks with 100 tons of food, medicine, water and other packages went to the city of Adiyaman emergency assistance.
“I will always remember the help sent by the people of Armenia to alleviate the suffering of our people in the earthquake-affected region,” Kılıç wrote on his Twitter page.
Ruben Rubinyan, in turn, said that the trucks crossed the Armenian-Turkish border, stressing: "I'm glad I could help."
Earlier, 27 rescuers flew from Armenia to Turkey.
It should be noted that the number of victims of the earthquake that occurred on February 6 in Turkey exceeded 24 thousand people.
