According to the National Environment Agency, the following weather conditions are expected in Georgia from August 13 to 15.
Intermittent rain is expected in most parts of Georgia on August 13–15. On August 13–14, heavy rainfall is possible in some areas of Adjara and Guria, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti, Samtskhe-Javakheti, Kvemo Kartli, and Kakheti. On August 15, heavy rainfall is possible in some areas of Kvemo Kartli, Kakheti, and Mtskheta-Mtianeti. Thunderstorms, hail, and stronger winds are also possible.
The expected heavy rainfall may cause water levels to rise in small rivers and trigger or intensify landslide and mudflow processes in hilly and mountainous areas (hazard level: medium).
