Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, has outlined a clear timetable for the commencement of the Anaklia port project.

Responding to a query from a journalist about the project's timeline, Kobakhidze revealed, "The timeline is very specific. The tender-related procedures will be finalized by May."

Kobakhidze further clarified that construction activities are slated to begin in June. "The initial, primary phase is expected to span approximately two years. The critical aspect for us is ensuring the successful completion of this first phase within the two-year timeframe. Our efforts are entirely concentrated on achieving this goal," the Prime Minister emphasized.
