Georgian Wine Exports Surge in Early 2024: The beginning of 2024 has marked a significant increase in Georgian wine exports, showcasing growth in both volume and value compared to the same period in the previous year.
In the months of January and February 2024, Georgia exported 16.7 million liters of wine, valued at 47.6 million US dollars, to 47 countries worldwide. This represents a robust 43% increase in volume and a 38% rise in value year-over-year.
The trend of growth is not limited to wine alone but extends across the board to other alcoholic beverages. During the same timeframe, exports of 6.3 million liters of various alcoholic drinks, worth 35.2 million USD, reached 31 countries globally. This marks a quantitative leap of 48% and a 46% boost in revenue compared to the early months of last year.
