Russian opposition politician Alexei Navalny died in the third colony, located in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. Meduza reports this.
“After the walk, prisoner Alexei Navalny felt unwell and lost consciousness; doctors arrived at the scene, but they were unable to save Navalny,” the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service reported.
On February 14, it became known that Alexei Navalny was transferred to a punishment cell.
Alexei Navalny was arrested in 2021 and has been in prison since then. He was 47 years old.
