"We are calling the interior minister to answer questions," Teona Akubardia, an opposition MP, said at a plenary session of the Georgian Parliament.
Teona Acubardia presented to the deputies the report of the audit service for 2019-2020 on issues in the border police.
According to him, the situation has not changed even in 2022.
“I am surprised at the irresponsibility of the Minister of the Interior when he said in Parliament that the priority is the protection of the border and everything is going well, and here comes the conclusion of the audit service,” Teona Akubardia said.
According to her, the "group of reforms" calls Vakhtang Gomelauri to the parliament in connection with the above issue.
