Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has nominated Tamaz Borashvili for the position of head of the State Security Service of Georgia.
Irakli Kobakhidze made the announcement at a briefing held at the Government Administration.
Until now, Tamaz Borashvili has served as Deputy Head of the State Security Service.
It should be recalled that today, Geka Geladze announced his decision to step down as head of the State Security Service.
