The National Bank of Georgia has set new official exchange rates. Following trading on August 26, the US dollar strengthened to GEL 2.6195. The rate in effect today was GEL 2.6153.

The euro also strengthened, with its exchange rate reaching GEL 3.0551. The rate in effect today was GEL 3.0500.

The Turkish lira remained unchanged at GEL 0.0544.

The exchange rates established following today’s trading will take effect on August 27.
