According to the preliminary data of last year's economic growth, published by the National Statistical Service of Georgia, the average real growth for 2022 is set at 10.1%.


 

According to the Sakstat, in December 2022, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the growth of real gross domestic product (GDP) amounted to 11.0%. The following sectors made a significant contribution to the direction of growth: construction, processing industry, transport and warehousing, financial and insurance activities, trade, hotels and restaurants.

The downward trend was observed in real estate, professional, scientific and technical activities, as well as in the electricity, gas, and air conditioning sectors.
