On November 10, FDI grant agreement was signed between Enterprise Georgia/Invest in Georgia and American company - Lineate.

Lineate is a software company that is represented in 4 countries, including Georgia. The Georgia regional office was established in 2022 and currently employs around 85 people. As part of FDI grant, the American company will invest USD 700,000 in Georgia and create at least 50 new jobs.

Lineate is the first company that will benefit from the state program to support foreign investments projects, and after fulfilling the investment obligations, the company will receive 15% cashback of the invested amount in form of a grant.

It should be noted that the state program can be used by international companies operating in the advanced manufacturing (electrical parts, auto parts, and aviation parts), business processes outsourcing and IT, logistics and aircraft maintenance sectors (MRO).

The purpose of the program is to support potential and existing investors in Georgia to initiate new/additional investments in sectors with high-value added, which in turn ensures the creation of new jobs and contributes to the economy.
