French Transport Minister Clément Beaune said Ukraine was "working hard" to restore civilian flights. He said this in an interview with European Pravda.

Bon said that France is cooperating with Ukraine in the field of training Ukrainian pilots and air traffic controllers. They are already practicing on simulators or in special schools in Toulouse, France. France has now agreed to expand this cooperation.

“The moment when civil aviation flights over Ukraine will resume, I hope, will come as soon as possible. And if the aviators have no practice, then according to the safety rules, they will not have the right to immediately resume work. Therefore, we are helping Ukraine prepare for the moment when your airspace will be fully or partially open,” said the French Minister of Transport.

Also, according to him, Ukraine already “has certain considerations about this discovery,” and they are “working hard” on it. “But, of course, the main issue is still safety,” Bon adds.

In addition, the minister assured that France is ready to train Ukrainian specialists related to navigation.
