Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law adopted by the State Duma of the Russian Federation and the introduction of an electronic system for conscription into the army.
According to the new law, citizens will receive information about conscription by e-mail.
Previously, summons were issued to citizens by military registration and enlistment offices or employers. After the change in legislation, it will be more difficult for citizens to evade compulsory military service.
