The first racket of Georgia, Nikoloz Basilashvili, began with a victory in the qualifying round of the current Qatar Open in Doha.
The Georgian tennis player beat her Turkish rival Dzhel Ilke in two sets with a score of 6:3, 7:5.
In the next stage, Basilashvili will meet with Briton Liam Brody.
