Iberia Business Group, a leading holding company that represents international brands such as Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, Kia, and Mitsubishi in Georgia, is preparing to enter the Uzbekistan market.

The announcement was made by Tariel Khechikashvili, the founder of Iberia Business Group, during an interview on the BMGTV program "Tsertili" where he discussed the group's plans for 2023.

Khechikashvili explained that Mitsubishi had decided to expand its presence in the Asian market and had chosen Iberia Business Group as a partner. "This is a great trust and recognition," said Khechikashvili, who added that the deepening of the partnership with Mitsubishi was a positive signal for other partnerships.

According to Khechikashvili, the group had worked hard to gain the trust of their Japanese partners in Georgia and had succeeded. As a result, when Mitsubishi decided to expand into the Asian market, IBG was selected as their partner in the region. "We were given the opportunity to choose a partner in Uzbekistan. There is already a preliminary agreement, and hopefully the formal part will be completed very soon. During the current year, preparatory work should be carried out, and in the next year we will appoint our representative in Uzbekistan. In a country of 40 million people, this is a very big trust," he said.

IBG Holding is the official representative of such well-known international brands in Georgia as: Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, Kia and Mitsubishi.
